Day Two Continued, Monaco

It's hard to believe that we did so much in one day, but it just keeps going: We continued down the Moyenne-Corniche from Èze, out of France and to another country: Monaco. We spent most of our time in Monte Carlo, strolling the beautiful gardens, stepping into the infamous Casino (Daniel especially liked the cars parked outside), enjoying a break (a little vin blanc et accompaniments) and some people-watching at a Cafe de Paris, window-shopping the ultra-expensive boutiques, and exploring the harbor and gawking at the yachts. (Yes, that's a helicopter on the back of the biggest yacht, below).

With Daniel's gracious French and convincing manner, we somehow procured a reservation at a packed outdoor restaurant overlooking the harbor. As the sun went down, the lights of the city blinked on, and a bright full moon rose over the water, we savored the end of a long and adventure-filled day.
